Greg Sayegh, Senior Vice President - Retail Lending, Oversee retail loan production in the Southwestern United States. Volume achieved for 2002 was approximately $25 Billion. Results included number one position in market share in California (#5 as stand-alone division); highest sales productivity in industry. Through senior level Regional Sales Management team, manage forty Home Loan Centers. Key disciplines include recruit and retain top producers, develop strategies to penetrate key low-to-moderate income customers, communicate corporate strategy and drive results to achieve targeted key performance indicators.

8/96 - 10/98 1st VP - Regional Sales Manager, Washington Mutual Savings Bank

Responsible for 12 retail loan centers located in Southern California. Funding volume projected at $2.0 billion in residential first mortgages for 1998, which will exceed prior years origination's by 25%. Primary focus has been increasing sales productivity by effective sales and territory management strategies, as well as improving the service efficiency of our processing teams.

5/94 - 8/96 SVP - Director, Wholesale Lending, American Savings Bank 

Re-engineered Wholesale Lending from an ancillary division that funded $211 million in 1993 to a powerhouse that enjoyed volumes of $1.0 billion in 1994, $1.5 billion in 1995, and over $2.5 billion in 1996. Process included division wide service initiative, expansion into four loan centers with 22 Account Managers placed in strategic market areas, enhanced marketing approach that provided added-value benefits to brokers, and installing effective monitoring systems to ensure optimum asset quality.

12/93 - 5/94 VP - Production Operations Manager, PNC Mortgage 

Hired to open Operations Center in Northern California to support Wholesale and Residential originations for the western United States. Developed the structure, process flow and consulted on the front-end system.

4/87 - 12/93 SVP, Retail Lending Division Manager, California Federal Bank

District Sales Manager April, 1987 to July 1989.

Vice-President, Regional Lending Manager July 1989.

February 1991 Senior Vice-President, Loan Production Manager.

June 1992 to Retail Lending Division Manager.

National Sales Manager for Retail, Wholesale and Community Loan programs in November, 1993

5/83 - 4/87 VP, Loan Origination Manager, Merit Savings Bank

5/83-12/84 Account Executive for Construction Loan Division. Responsible for business development in the greater Los Angeles area.

Secondary Market Department Manager in December, 1984; Vice-President, Loan Origination Manager in June of 1985.

Greg joined Washington Mutual through the 1997 acquisition of American Savings Bank, where he was a Senior Vice President. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Area Sales Manager in 1998.

Greg joined American Savings Bank in early 1994 as Director of Wholesale Lending, then Senior Vice President of Southern California Retail Lending.

Earlier he was Senior Vice President of Retail Loan Production for California Federal Bank.

Greg studied business management at Cal Poly, Pomona and Mt. San Antonio College. He also attended the Institute of Financial Education, Western Real Estate Schools and was a member of the Society of Exchange Counselors.

Greg is a Silver Circle member of the United Way and is on the Board of Directors for the Housing Division of the Enterprise Foundation.

Greg is elected WTOBO Advisory Board member for his outstanding  community services and excellent leadership.
