Re-engineered Wholesale Lending from an ancillary
division that funded $211 million in 1993 to a powerhouse that enjoyed volumes

Process included division wide service initiative, expansion into four loan
centers with 22 Account Managers placed in strategic market areas, enhanced
marketing approach that provided added-value benefits to brokers, and installing

Greg joined Washington Mutual through the 1997 acquisition of American Savings Bank, where he was a Senior Vice President. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Area Sales Manager in 1998.
Greg joined American Savings Bank in early 1994 as Director of Wholesale Lending, then Senior Vice President of Southern California Retail Lending.
Earlier he was Senior Vice President of Retail Loan Production for California Federal Bank.
Greg studied business management at Cal Poly, Pomona and Mt. San Antonio College. He also attended the Institute of Financial Education, Western Real Estate Schools and was a member of the Society of Exchange Counselors.
Greg is a Silver Circle member of the United Way and is on the Board of Directors for the Housing Division of the Enterprise Foundation.
